Teaching and Research Section of International Law Introduction

There are six people in the section, including two professors, three vice-professors, one lecturer. It offers undergraduate course "International Law", "Private International Law", "International Economic Law" to undertake the Master's post-graduate courses in international law, "History of international relations", "World economy", "Principles of Public International Law", "Principles of Private International Law", "International Principles of Economic Law "," International Financial Law, "" International Environmental Law, "" International Human Rights Law. " In 2005 it was approved by the bureau of educational degree of State Council to raise a master's degree in international law, courses are of international law, international private law, international economic law, international financial law, international environmental law, international human rights law six research directions.

In recent years, the section has undertaken National Social Science Fund, "Study of legal issues on jointly development of oil and gas resources over the Nansha Islands sea area ", provincial and ministerial level topic " demarcation research on China and neighboring countries over the Nansha Islands sea area ", "China's foreign economic cooperation and" open Sichuan "research", "Research on International Commercial customary sources of law", "South (China) Sea legal issues", etc., horizontal project on "fundamental issues of private international law jurisprudence", etc.. Obtain research fund of nearly 100 million Yuan in the past five years. Publication of books, translations, teaching materials nearly 20, published more than 60 academic articles. Among them, a total of seven got provincial and ministerial level scientific research rewards.

In academic exchanges, teachers in the section go to the United States St. Louis University, University of Virginia School of Law, St. Louis, Washington University School of Law, University of Glasgow Law School, Japan, Fukuoka University, Nagasaki University Faculty of Law and other world-renowned universities for advanced studies and institutes set up academic exchange relationship.
