He Jingxi, Professor, Master, Demography Graduate Students Tutor

He used to study at foreign language professional in Chongqing Normal University, and pursued international studies in Yunnan University. He studied sociology, demography in Utah University in US as a visiting scholar from 1986 to 1988. In 1982, he was appointed to Sichuan University to teach sociology, human capital theory, while, social survey theory and methods, research and development of human resources and national population studies as the main research direction. He was promoted to professor in 1996. He has pubished 70 papers on China Social Science, Ethnic Studies, Management of the world and other pulications. He also has works like Outline History of Western Social Theory, and undertook National Social Science Fund, the United States Ford Foundation, the Ministry of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, "15" planning research projects.

At present, he is Vice President of Population Association of Sichuan Province, Society Institute executive director of Sichuan Province and Population Research Institute
